Born in 1976, Bruges, Gys has come a long way from his days of having a one-man office in a small room in Ghent.
He is the founder of POLARIS Creative Solutions.

Today, 23 years later, his PLANET POLARIS™ is a creative agency based in Belgium, with several subsidiary projects like EVE Culture Building, Polaris Creative Solutions, It’s a Hotel™, Polarisnation Group™, NineGoodies™, PolarisCare™, Clever&Cool™, PolarisTravel™, PolarisContent™.

It’s a full-service brand representing creative and technical talent in the fields of corporate identity, communication design, ICT, people communication, travel, writing, training and education, hospitality, food & beverages, consumer adoptation of technology, advertising, content providing and charity, working on projects around the globe. 

He consults to ensure that companies are strategically aligned both internally and externally with the overarching vision. He advises on and evaluates potential ideas, fosters partnerships, and orchestrates collaborative environments. From day 1 he’s been a trailblazer for good causes and charitable projects. He has been guest lecturer at several schools and is a passionate keynote speaker at various occasions.

Gys studied some archaeology at Leuven University, Graphic Design at Sint-Lucas Ghent, Computer Generated Imagery at UFT Toronto and obtained a post-degree from the VUB (School of Thinking). 
He is also a proud father of two sons (20 y and 9 y), philanthropist, global citizen, piano player, drummer, terrible cello player, comic/whisky collector and motorcyclist.
